Starting in June 2022, all businesses on Snapchat must set up a free Public Profile to be eligible to run ads on the platform. Similar to how profile pages work in other social interfaces, your will act as a discoverable homepage for your brand.
Why are Public Profiles Important?
Besides the fact that they will be required, having a Public Profile will give your brand more potential to be reached organically by Snapchat users. In the same way profiles on platforms like Instagram and TikTok function, Public Profiles will be a home base for users to connect to your brand. This will also aid in increasing your brand’s authenticity and awareness by publicly showcasing your creativity via a digital and interactable page. Overall, creating a Public Profile will increase the impact of your existing Snapchat creatives.
Below you’ll find instructions on how to create a Public Profile on Snapchat. It will only take a few minutes.
If you want, Adway can help you create it, just note that the name "Adway" then will be visible under your company name.
• If your company doesn’t have a Snapchat account you first need to create one here:
Use your company name as Username.

• Press “Create Public Profile”:
• Now you have created a Public Profile. Press “Edit Profile” to add some more details to your account (Public Display Name and an image for example):

On the link above you can find information that: - Adway will not be able to access the Public Profile section for the shared Profile - we will be able to promote the content with ads, but we won't get access to your Profile, be able to post to it, see analytics etc. - Adway will not see the "Shared" tab under Business Dashboard - however, the organization that shares the Profile will see it.
